Ashanti Shequoiya Douglas, also called Ashanti was born on October 13 on the 13th of October, 1980 in Glen Cove New York United States. Ashanti is an United States singer, songwriter, and actor. Her talent was first noticed as a teen. She was signed to Murder Inc. Records, in 2002. The same year, she was featured as a guest on Fat Joe's What's Luv? Both Fat Joe's What's Luv? She became the first female artist to hold highest two positions within the Billboard Hot 100 list in the United States with Foolish at first place and What's Luv? at number two.
